A significant majority of Filipino adults (76%) express trust in the Philippine Air Force (PAF), ranking it among the most trusted and high-performing government agencies, according to OCTAResearch group’s fourth-quarter 2025 survey.
In the latest Tugon ng Masa (TNM) survey, results showed that all adult Filipinos (100%) are aware of the Philippine Air Force, with only 6% indicating distrust.
Trust in the PAF is most pronounced in the Visayas and Mindanao, both of which record trust ratings of 80%. In comparison, the National Capital Region (NCR) posts the lowest trust level at 68%.
At the regional level, trust in the PAF reaches exceptionally high levels in several areas: the Negros Island Region and the Bicol Region both at 94%, SOCCSKSARGEN at 93%, BARMM and Western Visayas at 88%, and MIMAROPA at 85%.
Conversely, lower trust ratings are seen in Caraga (40%) and the Cordillera Administrative Region (48%), highlighting regional variations in perceptions.
The survey also indicates that about 74% of adult Filipinos are satisfied with the PAF’s performance, while only 6% express dissatisfaction.
Satisfaction levels are highest in Balance Luzon (76%), Mindanao (75%), and the Visayas (75%), while the NCR has the lowest satisfaction rating at 62%.
Regionally, satisfaction reaches 93% in both the Bicol Region and BARMM, followed closely by SOCCSKSARGEN at 90%, MIMAROPA at 85%, and the Negros Island Region at 84%.
In contrast, the lowest satisfaction ratings are recorded in Caraga (41%) and the Cordillera Administrative Region (47%).
The non-commissioned face-to-face survey was conducted from December 3 to 11, with 1,200 respondents aged 18 and above.
The survey has a ±3% margin of error at a 95% confidence level. Subnational estimates for the geographic areas covered in the survey have margins of error of ±6% for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
