Solon files 60 bills in just six months

OVER the past six months since the opening of the 20th Congress, Paranaque Rep. Brian Yamsuan has already filed over 60 bills that aim to elevate the welfare of the country’s vulnerable sectors and facilitated the delivery of government support programs to over 100,000 beneficiaries in the city’s second district.

Yamsuan hit the ground running on June 30, 2025, his Day One as Parañaque 2nd District congressman, distributing livelihood packages under his Bigay Negosyo program.

This program, which Yamsuan has been implementing to expand economic opportunities for Parañaque residents in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), has so far yielded 1,148 beneficiaries during his first six months in office.

“In 2026, we will further streamline the implementation of the Bigay Negosyo and other programs that will help ease access to quality healthcare, jobs, livelihood opportunities, and education for Parañaque residents. Our goal is to level the playing field for everyone and ensure that they directly benefit from these programs without any need for, a political sponsor, or any other form of middleman,” Yamsuan said.
