The Philippines and Greece have committed to strengthen bilateral defense relations notably in logistics, military training, and exchange of information.
The mutual commitment was embodied in a memorandum of understanding signed during last Friday’s visit Greek ambassador to Manila Ioannis Pediotis to the Department of National Defense (DND) headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
DND officials and Pediotis discussed enhanced collaboration i critical areas such as proposed logistics, training, and information exchange, paving the way for stronger ties between the two nations’ defense establishments.
The DND also expressed gratitude for Greece’s invitation for the Philippines to take part in the upcoming Defense Exhibition Athens (DEFEA 2025).
“The meeting reaffirmed the Philippines’ commitment to strengthening defense relations with Greece,” the DND said in a statement, highlighting the shared goal of promoting regional stability and global security.
