The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) unveiled its new logo during its 43rd Anniversary celebration on Friday.
MIAA also introduced a revised mission and vision statement that better reflects its evolving role as the regulator of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the country’s premier airport.
“The launch of our new identity represents a significant step in our journey toward becoming a regulatory authority that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and innovation,” stated MIAA General Manager Eric Jose Ines.
On September 14, 2024, the operations and maintenance of NAIA were transferred to the private operator New NAIA Infra Corporation (NNIC), allowing MIAA to shift towards a regulatory role.
This transition is part of broader efforts to modernize and enhance the airport experience for passengers while ensuring the long-term sustainability of NAIA.
Ines expressed gratitude to MIAA personnel for their continued motivation despite these ongoing changes. He also shared that it is an honor and privilege to work with each and every one of them.
