Several universities and colleges on Friday reported temporary issues accessing their websites using the domain “edu.ph.”
The University of the Philippines (UP) Information Technology Development Center (ITDC) issued an advisory regarding the difficulty in accessing websites with the said domain, including those of the state university system and its constituent universities.
“There is currently an issue with PHNet, which manages all edu.ph domain names,” the advisory read.
Other schools reporting similar issues include the University of Santo Tomas (UST), University of the East (UE), and Universidad de Manila (UdM).
The aforementioned universities said they are already coordinating with PHNet to resolve the issue.
Their official websites remain inaccessible as of writing.
