THE government is making a way to promote strategic mindset as it shifts to external defense, the Department of National Defense (DND) said.
During a briefing at the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP), Defense Undersecretary Irineo Espino, encouraged the members of the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) program of NDCP Regular Class 60 (RC 60) to elevate their strategic thinking to address security challenges,
The MNSA students were briefed on the Defense Department and its bureaus, the innovations and responses of the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), the DND’s objectives and strategic thrusts, and the Department’s International Defense and Security Engagements Program.
DND Undersecretary for Strategic Assessment and Planning Ignacio Madriaga highlighted the ground-breaking learning opportunities for the MNSA students, emphasizing the DND’s ongoing efforts to transform and elevate its strategic mindset at all levels.
