President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. held an informal meeting with select Cabinet officials Friday to discuss guidelines in implementing government programs under the 2025 national budget.
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) released a series of photos showing Mr. Marcos going through some papers while meeting with at least five members of his official family.
Present at the meeting were Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, Social Welfare Secretary Rex Gatchalian, Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, and Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio Balisacan.
Mr. Marcos held a full Cabinet meeting earlier this week, expressing his intention to restore key socioeconomic projects originally included in the National Expenditure Program (NEP), but were defunded by Congress in the national budget.
