State volcanology bureau Phivolcs on Monday evening reported a minor phreatomagmatic eruption from Taal Volcano Island’s Main Crater.
Occurring at 7:34 p.m., the eruption was caught by the IP camera of the Lower Calauit Observation Station (VTLC).

It generated a 600-meter plume and was accompanied by a volcanic tremor that lasted for three minutes.
According to Phivolcs, Alert Level 1 (low level of volcanic unrest) prevails over Taal Volcano.
