EDUCATION Secretary Juan Edgardo Angara vows to press his commitment to promote programs and reforms in the country’s basic education system.
Angara enunciated the pledge in his holiday message, citing the support of President Marcos and allies in the private sector to elevate the quality of education in the country.

The secretary underscored that the Department of Education faced numerous challenges this year, but was able to overcome the problems through cooperative action.
“I sincerely thank you for your dedication and support, as well as for your trust in me as secretary,” Angara said.
