The Office of the Vice President (OVP) in a statement expressed gratitude to all who provided support during a recent crisis.
A special acknowledgment was given to healthcare professionals who ensured the well-being of OVP staff requiring medical assistance.
“A heartfelt thank you goes to the doctors and all healthcare personnel who worked tirelessly to ensure the well-being of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) staff who needed medical assistance,” the statement read.
The office also thanked lawyers who monitored the legal needs of employees around the clock.
Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa received appreciation for his support of Undersecretary Zuleika Lopez at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center on November 23, 2024.
Additionally, Senator Bong Go was commended for stepping in for Vice President Sara Duterte during this critical time.
“Additionally, gratitude goes to Senator Imee Marcos for ensuring that there was a Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) order allowing VP Sara Duterte and Senator Bato Dela Rosa to attend to patients at VMMC,” it continued.
The OVP also extended its thanks for its continuous coverage of the situation, highlighting issues of injustice and violence while supporting free expression.
