President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday afternoon met with lawmakers from the House of Representatives at Malacañang, according to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
“The gathering is meant to be a fellowship between the Office of the President and members of the House of Representatives which was already scheduled some time ago,” the PCO said.
“The event is for close coverage only,” it added.
The said office has yet to release further details regarding the Palace meeting, including which House members were present.
Meanwhile, the supposed fellowship gathering took place as at least two impeachment complaints have been filed against Vice President Sara Duterte.
