THE Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Tuesday convened the 27th Multi-Sector Governance Council (MSGC) meeting at the AFP general headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
The meeting, presided by AFP vice chief of staff Lt. Gen. Arthur Cordura, focused on the progress of the AFP’s transformation initiatives and governance reforms.
The MSGC is an advisory body composed of leaders and experts from various sectors who provide guidance and insights to ensure that the AFP achieves its vision of becoming a world-class military organization.
During the meeting, updates on the implementation of the AFP transformation roadmap were presented, highlighting milestones achieved and areas for further improvement.
Cordura emphasized the importance of collaboration between the AFP and external stakeholders in sustaining reforms and strengthening institutional capabilities.
“The MSGC remains a cornerstone of our commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence. With your support, the AFP continues to uphold its mission of protecting the nation while transforming into a modern and professional military organization,” he said.
