The Bravo Battery of the 1st Field Artillery (Beat ’Em) Battalion, part of the Army Artillery Regiment, collaborated with the 14th Special Forces Company of the 4th Special Forces Battalion, Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) of the Philippine Army to conduct a Mortar Gunnery Operations Training and Seminar for 15 students.
This event took place at Sitio Dangkalan, Brgy Kulaybato, Lamitan City, Basilan Province.
According to the Army, the training emphasized essential mortar gunnery skills, which included weapon handling, safety protocols, target acquisition, and firing techniques.
This initiative aimed to enhance the operational proficiency and readiness of the attendees.
The training was led by Technical Sergeant Elbert C. Cahilog, Bravo Battery First Sergeant, and Staff Sergeant Greggy Marion L. Garcia, Operations NCO of the Philippine Army.
