PAF names new Assistant Chief of Operations

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) has appointed Colonel Charlie Tiu Jr. as the new Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Operations, succeeding BGen. Moises Micor who is transitioning to a new role as Wing Commander of the Tactical Operations Wing Central (TowCen) of PAF.

The change of command ceremony took place at the PAF headquarters in Pasay City, presided over by PAF Chief of Air Staff MGen. Aristotle Gonzalez.

In a related development, Tiu has officially handed over his duties and responsibilities as Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Plans to Colonel Ulysses Mancao.

During his remarks, MGen. Gonzales highlighted the significance of adaptability and strategic foresight in both operations and planning.

He urged the newly appointed officers to maintain the highest standards of excellence and dedication in order to achieve operational goals for national defense.
