The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) honored the exceptional achievements of soldier-athletes on Monday.
The military celebrated the dedication of soldier-athletes from the Philippine Arnis Team and Paris 2024 Olympics, recognizing their perseverance in representing the nation on the international stage.

The AFP Cavaliers Team, led by Deputy Chief of Staff LtGen Charlton Sean Gaerlan, also received the Meritorious Achievement Medal.
The event was presided over by Vice Chief of Staff LtGen Arthur M. Cordura, who represented AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Brawner Jr.
In a gesture of generosity, they donated their winnings of 500,000 pesos to the Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo Station Hospital (CGEASH) in support of community welfare.
