House Deputy Secretary General Sofonias Gabonada reported that the latest AKAP payouts amounted to P91.955 million, benefiting thousands across the Davao region.

“With the instruction of President Marcos, we will continue to deliver direct assistance to our people, especially with the good news about the inflation last month that eased to 1.9 percent from 3.3 percent in August and 4.4 percent in July,” Romualdez said in a statement.

Last October 2, an AKAP event held at Davao de Oro State College’s New Bataan Campus provided aid to 2,190 students. They received P2,000 each, totaling P4.38 million.

Additional payouts included P22.88 million to 2,288 beneficiaries at Davao Regional Medical Center, and P56.09 million to 5,609 beneficiaries at Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City.

The AKAP payouts concluded on October 5 at ePark, Tagum City, where Davao del Norte Vice Governor De Carlo Uy and local officials led the distribution of P5,000 each to 1,721 private school teachers, amounting to P8.605 million.
