Fleet enlistees inducted in Zambales

The Philippine Fleet (PF) under the Fleet Operations Shipboard Rating (FOSR) program on Tuesday welcomed a new batch of special enlistees at the Naval Operating Base (NOB) Subic in Zambales.

Forty-two candidate sailors took their oath, followed by a light reception marking the beginning of their journey as military recruits under the purview of the Fleet Support Group.

Chief of Fleet Staff Capt. Lued Lincuna encouraged the new recruits to perform their duties and responsibilities with excellence, competence, and pride.

He also urged them to continue sharpening their skills and pursue higher standards of learning, as they are expected to hold various key positions aboard ship.

These special enlistees will undergo orientation training to prepare them physically and mentally for the upcoming Sailor Basic Course (SBC).

This is part of the Fleet’s initiative to recruit highly qualified, technically skilled, and motivated individuals with specific FOSR-related expertise, who will operate the Fleet’s modern surface assets in the future.
