Domestic flights suspended due to bad weather

The Manila International Airport Authority announced on Monday the cancellation of at least 17 domestic flights due to bad weather conditions.

As of 7:10 a.m., the following flights were canceled:

– Philippine Airlines (PAL) Express flights 2P-2921 and 2P-2922 to and from Daraga

– Philippine Airlines (PAL) Express flights 2P-2671 and 2P2672 to and from Calbayog

– Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) and its sister airline CebGo also suspended 13 flights, including those going to and from Legazpi, Masbate, San Jose, Naga, and Virac.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) also reported the suspension of flight operations in Lingayen Airport.

In San Jose Airport, more than 50 passengers were affected by the cancellation of two local flights, while there were 10 canceled flights in Bicol International Airport.

Meanwhile, roughly 140 passengers were affected by the cancellation of two flights in Masbate Airport, while two other flights were suspended in Virac Airport.

“As of 9:15 a.m., all airports in Area V (Bicol International Airport, Naga, Virac, Masbate, Daet, Bulan, and Bacon) sustained no damage from Tropical Storm Enteng,” the CAAP stated.
