The Philippine National Police (PNP), in coordination with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), are investigating a road accident that occurred early Wednesday morning in Quezon City.
The accident, which involved a sand-loaded truck and an L-300 van, resulted in five injuries and heavy traffic in the area of C5-Eastwood around 4:30 a.m.
The injured individuals were reportedly rushed to the nearby Quirino Memorial Medical Center.
The MMDA dispatched enforcers and personnel from the Metro Parkway Clearing Group to clear the area. As of 9:30 a.m., three lanes are passable for motorists.
