Agents seize shabu shipment at NAIA

The Bureau of Customs intercepted a shipment of shabu declared as documents at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport worth more than P600,000.

The shipment from Muntinlupa City was supposed to be sent to Italy, but Customs examiners raised suspicion during routine scanning procedures.

Upon physical examination, authorities uncovered twenty sachets of suspected shabu concealed inside seven small plastic packs, totaling approximately 100 grams with an estimated street value of P680,000.

BOC-NAIA promptly turned over the confiscated drugs to PDEA for further investigation and to initiate legal proceedings against those involved in the illegal drug trade.
