The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Tuesday issued a show cause order against a jeepney driver and his operator to shed light into the complaint of a female passenger for supposed body-shaming.
The operator of Double A Transport in the name of Flora Magtibay and Romeo Guerrero, along with their jeepney driver, are set to appear at the LTFRB Central Office on June 14.
The order was signed by attorney IV Sherwin Vizconde.
LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiana III acted on the complaint of 29-year-old passenger that went viral.
The said passenger claimed the driver asked her to get off the vehicle for being overweight, blaming her weight as the cause of his jeepney’s flat tires.
