Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. has called on the troops to sustain the highest norm of professionalism in the discharge of their sworn duties in his speech at the changing of the guards in VisCom.
“Continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and honor. Together, we will face the future with courage, resolve, and with the unshakable belief that the Visayas Brawner said in his remarks at the turnover of command in the region.
He also underscored the importance of maintaining peace and stability in Central Philippines and urged the incoming commander, Lt. Gen Reyeg, to “embrace resilience, innovation, and adaptability.”
“The Visayas Command (VisCom) will always be a force to be reckoned with,” Brawner added.
Reyeg took over in acting capacity from Cmdr. Oscar Canlas in ceremonies held at Camp Lapu-Lapu in Cebu City.
