PCG conducts seminar on programs, projects

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has conducted a seminar on review of programs, activities, and projects structure and performance indicators of the agency under the General Appropriations Act in Manila on April 18.

The PCG deemed the undertaking as necessary to appropriately measure the organizations’ program implementation and subsequently recognize areas of best practices while identifying areas for improvements.  

Moreover, the Governance and Strategy Management Office of Philippine Military Academy chief, Lt. Col. Noah Hernander and Boy Scouts of the Philippines director Kim Robert De Leon were the resource speakers and panelists during the seminar.

The Office of the Deputy Chief of Coast Guard for Comptrollership in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for Operations, CG-3 spearheaded the initiative.

Also present during the event were Maritime Security and Law Enforcement Command chief Vice Admiral Robert  Patrimonio; chief of Coast Guard Staff, Rear Admiral Hostillo Arturo Cornelio; Marine Environmental Protection Command acting deputy commander Cmdr.Eduardo De Luna; deputy chief of Coast Guard staff for comptrollership Capt. Dorothy Manglicmot, deputy chief of Coast Staff for operations Capt. Danny August  Cariño; and other PCG officers and non-officers.
