Alain Robert, a 61-year-old urban climber who has been nicknamed “the French Spider-Man,” displayed his climbing prowess at the GT International Tower in Makati City yesterday.

He reached the 47th floor of the country’s 10th tallest building before he was arrested by Makati City police.

This was the second time that Robert scaled the Makati building, which has a height of 712 feet.

In 2019, he managed to reach the 43rd floor of GT International Tower before he arrested.

Robert then posted bail and vowed to “think of my next crime.”

“I’m happy because I can climb again tomorrow,” he said in 2019.

Robert previously set a Guinness World Record for the “most buildings climbed unassisted” – including the Burj Khalifa, Eiffel Tower, and Empire State Building, among others.
