Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri and 11 other senators logged a perfect attendance since the start of the 2nd Regular Session on July 24, 2023.
Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda, Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva, and Senators Ronald Dela Rosa, Jinggoy Estrada, Sherwin Gatchalian, Christopher Lawrence Go, Risa Hontiveros, Robin Padilla, Bong Revilla, Raffy Tulfo, and Cynthia Villar logged no absences during the past seven months.
“In the Senate, every day is a ‘buckling-down-to-work’ kind of day,” Zubiri said.
“In my long years as a public servant, I have learned this one important thing: true leadership starts by showing up for the important work for the people. And here in the Senate, we take that to heart,” he added.
The twelve senators have attended a total of 54 session days.
“Public service is a reward in itself, but we go to work knowing that our presence and our voices represent the people’s interests,” Zubiri said.
