The Taguig City government has extended the deadline for the payment of local business taxes and fees related to the Mayor’s Permits to Jan. 22.

Members of the City Council have passed Ordinance No. 114, S. 2024 extending the deadline for payment of local business taxes and fees due to the local government.

This will allow Taguig taxpayers, who will be receiving their Notices of Assessment within the statutory deadline of Jan. 20, to have their Manager’s Checks prepared on the next banking day, Monday, Jan. 22.

The extension of the deadline for payment may be availed only by taxpayers who complete their applications for the renewal of business permits for evaluation, billing, and assessment, within the close of business hours (5 p.m.) of Jan. 20.
