Frontline healthcare workers (A1) and senior citizens (A2) in Las Piñas City will start receiving their second booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday.

Last Friday, Vice Mayor April Aguilar met with the City Health Office (CHO) team headed by Dr. Julie Gonzalez in preparation for the second booster vaccination of senior citizens and health workers.

The Vice Mayor told the CHO team that Mayor Imelda Aguilar wanted a concrete plan for the administration of the second booster shot.

Local officials said A1 (healthcare workers) and A2 (senior citizens) who can be given the second booster will receive a text message telling them to find the place and time of their inoculation.

Vice Mayor Aguilar also proposed that community sites at Verdant Covered Court, Golden Acres Covered Court, Almanza Uno Covered Court, San Antonio Covered Court, Bambusetum Covered Court, Gatchalian Covered Court and T.S Cruz Covered Court be reopened as additional vaccination sites.
