Isko youth volunteers brave rough waters in Zamboanga poll sortie

Youth volunteers of Aksyon Demokratiko presidential candidate and Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko  Moreno” Domagoso on board the “Bus  ni Isko” campaign caravan braved the storm and rough waters during their trip to Dapitan, Zamboanga del Norte last week, affirming their “no  retreat, no surrender” attitude.

Ces Bayan of the group Ama ni Isko, Team Leader of the Visayas-Mindanao leg of “Bus ni Isko” characterized their trip to Dapitan City via Roro as “challenging” because of the bad weather.

Nevertheless, she said the youth volunteers of the 47-year-old Manila Mayor remain dedicated and committed to continuing and finishing the campaign notwithstanding the bad weather.

The youth campaigners of “Bus  ni  Isko” Visayas-Mindanao leg just made rounds in Dumaguete City distributing Aksyon Demokratiko t-shirts, aprons, and other campaign materials to convince the voting public to “Switch to Isko.”

Launched in Quezon City on April 4, the “Bus ni  Isko” campaign caravan aims to increase awareness of Domagoso’s presidential candidacy, believing that with his proven track record as Manila Mayor, Domagoso can replicate his feat as the highest official of the land.

The Visayas-Mindanao leg is planning to travel to Dipolog City, Zamboanga City to Pagadian City this week.

The Philippine Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Association Inc (PCARBA) Farmers and Fisherfolks Sector meanwhile endorsed Moreno through Resolution No. 05 that unanimously approved by the organization’s provincial, regional and national officers led by national president, Oscar Pialago, and secretary general Francisco Delasala. 

PCARBA claimed an active membership of 7.5 million that are distributed throughout the different provinces of the country. and belongs to the marginalized sector of society. 

The PCARBA said it “believes in the 10-point agenda of Mayor  Isko  Moreno Domagoso to make every Filipino self-reliant through livelihood skills,” and that all its 7.5 million members “will benefit if he wins as President” in the coming May 9 national and local elections. With Rey E. Requejo
