Kerwin Espinosa tags PNP officials in drug trade

Most of the persons being linked by suspected drug lord Kerwin Espinosa to illegal drug trade are police officials.

Senator Panfilo Lacson made this observation after reading the draft affidavit of Espinosa.

Lacson is heading the Senate Committee on Public Order that will investigate the death of Kerwin’s father, Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa while in detention in Baybay City Sub-Provincial Jail last month.

The probe will be held in Camp Crame on Wednesday at 9 am.

Lacson is leaving it up to the police the decision on whether or not the hearing will be made public, based on their security assessment.

Kerwin is currently finalizing his affidavit with the help of counsels at the PNP Custodial Center.

He is under the custody of the PNP Anti-Illegal Drugs Group at the PNP Headquarters.
