Duterte returns home from Vietnam

President Rodrigo Duterte is back in Davao City after his 2-day working visit to Vietnam.

He arrived at Davao International Airport at past 2 am on Friday.

In his arrival speech, Duterte said, his meeting with Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang strengthened the ties between Philippines and Vietnam.

He noted that he and the Vietnamese leader agreed to enhance the two countries’ maritime cooperation and pursue the protection for Filipino and Vietnamese fishermen.

Duterte said, they also committed themselves to the peaceful resolution of sea disputes.

He added, the two nations intend to help one another in the aspect of law enforcement.
