Number of fatalities in Davao blast rises to 14

The number of persons killed in Davao blast on Friday night has risen to 14, while the number of those injured stands at 60.

These figures come from Davao City police.

Meanwhile, Manila Mayor Joseph "Erap" Estrada has placed the city under full alert status following the attack in Davao City.

The order is given to Manila's police force, local security and emergency units. 

Estrada instructed the Manila Police District (MPD) Director Joel Coronel to tighten security around the capital city.

Police have been deployed in Manila's crowded areas, including Divisoria.
