Palace explains why Duterte-Ban meeting is not pushing through

Malacañang says it is not turning down the invitation for a meeting with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit in Laos.

Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Hellen dela Vega explains, the President’s schedule is just already full.

Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Spokesperson Charles Jose says, President Duterte has accepted 9 out of 11 invitations for bilateral meetings in Laos.
