Jun Lozada meted jail term of 6 to 10 years

NBN-ZTE deal whistleblower Jun Lozada is found guilty of graft by the Sandiganbayan.

He has been sentenced to imprisonment of 6 to 10 years.

The case stems from a graft charge after he granted a lease contract of a piece land to his brother Jose Orlando Lozada in 2007 and 2008.

Back then, Lozada was president and chief executive officer of the state-owned Philippine Forest Corporation (PFC), a government-owned and controlled corporation under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

Lozada served as primary witness in the multi-million NBN-ZTE national broadband deal that involved Former President Gloria Arroyo.
