Tiamzons won’t be released from jail

Communist party leaders Benito and Wilma Tiamzon will not be released from their detention cells in Camp Crame.

This is even if Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) allowed the couple to post bail so they can attend the peace talks in Oslo, Norway later this month.

PNP Chief Ronald dela Rosa explains, the two are also facing three cases in other courts.

The Tiamzons are detained at the Custodial Center of the PNP Headquarters in Quezon City.
