72 QC cops relieved

Seventy-two policemen in Quezon City have been relieved due to alleged links to illegal drugs and other charges.

This was announced by Quezon City Police Director Guillermo Eleazar.

The cops will temporarily be assigned to the District Headquarters’ Support Unit pending investigations against them.

Some of the policemen were removed from their posts due to cases of extortion.

Guillermo says, the action against the law enforcers is based on the recommendations of station commanders in Quezon City.
