PNP eyes nightclubs in anti-drug campaign

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is taking its campaign against illegal drugs in nightclubs and bars.

PNP National Capital Region (NCRPO) Director Oscar Albayalde says, they will deploy plain-clothes police investigators in these establishments.

Police will include in its operations the high-end bars in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig.

Albayalde says, they have talked with nightclub operators who promised to cooperate in PNP’s anti-drug campaign.

He adds, bar owners are willing to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the PNP for this purpose.
