Tesla Philippines has just expanded its charging infrastructure in Metro Manila, bringing greater convenience to electric vehicle owners with new Supercharger and Destination Charger locations. In Pasay, four V4 Superchargers are now operational at SM Mall of Asia’s South Wing along Ocean Boulevard. Open 24/7, these powerful chargers deliver up to 250 kW, enabling Tesla vehicles to gain approximately 120 kilometers of range in just five minutes. The pay-per-use Supercharging service is priced at PHP 19 per kWh. A full charge for a 513-km-ranged Model 3 RWD, for example, would cost roughly PHP 1,140.
Further expanding its reach, Tesla has also inaugurated its first Destination Charging site in Quezon City at Eastwood Mall’s B1 Parking. Four Destination Chargers are available at a competitive rate of PHP 16 per kWh. These chargers, strategically placed in key locations like shopping centers, cater to those needing overnight or extended charging.
Tesla emphasizes a seamless charging experience. The “Plug in, charge, and go” philosophy is supported by automated charger detection and easy-to-use mobile app integration. Tesla owners can monitor charging status, check availability, and manage payments directly through the app, eliminating payment hassles.
