“The all-new Mustang represents the very best of Ford and its arrival marks the latest chapter of the iconic muscle car’s rich legacy, crafted with a more contemporary look and feel.  With a history spanning more than 50 years, this iconic car is at the heart and soul of Ford and we are very excited to bring the sixth generation Mustang to the Philippines,” said Kay Hart, Managing Director, Ford Philippines.

The Mustang  has sold over 9 million units over its 50 years of continuous production. For the first time in its history, it has been made available in more markets in Europe and Asia, further cementing its place as a global automotive icon.

“When you see a Mustang drive by on the road, you see a legend in motion. From its exterior and interior features, the all-new Mustang is inspired by a unique and iconic design that has been reinvented for the contemporary world,” said Minnie Valencia-Bustamante, vice president for marketing and sales, Ford Philippines.

The all-new Mustang offers more options to fit any lifestyle with two high-performing engines to choose from: the 5.0-liter V8 or the 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine.      Each engine gets a unique grille that allows in only as much air as that specific power plant needs. The reworked automatic transmission features new steering wheel-mounted shift paddles for drivers who want the choice between convenience and control.

The state-of-the-art 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine uses direct injection, variable cam timing and turbo charging to deliver plenty of usable performance and projected segment-leading fuel efficiency. A unique intake manifold and turbocharger housing enable it to deliver the performance Mustang drivers expect with output projected at more than 314 PS of power and 434 Nm of torque.

The latest edition of the 5.0-liter V8 now features an upgraded valve train and cylinder heads that yield more than 441 PS of power and 542 Nm of torque. A new intake manifold improves low-speed breathing for better fuel economy, idle stability and emissions, making it the most powerful V8 engine in GT history.
