For many kids in the ‘90s, there’s a simple chant that expressed desire to have that juicy, crispy chicken from that fast food with a bee mascot.

Those who are not familiar with it, it was Serena Dalrymple’s iconic and catchy “Isa pa, isa pang Chickenjoy” chant first heard in a Jollibee TV commercial in 1997 made by ad agency Publicis JimenezBasic.

Chickenjoy, Jollibee
Jollibee relives its iconic ‘Isa pa, isa pang Chickenjoy’ chant in a new short video showing the current young generation expressing their desire to have one more serving of the beloved fried chicken.

Truly timeless, the line continues to resonate with today’s generation; a simple, direct request to have more of the beloved fried chicken.

The fast food giant brings back this chant with a short video that features young Filipinos doing the chant with their families and friends. Jollibee said it underscores how the chant still has a place in the hearts of the current young generation, over two decades since it was first heard.

“Jolibee Chickenjoy is so beloved among generations of Filipinos that reviving ‘isa pa, isa pang Chickenjoy’ still resonates so much with everyone after all this time,” said Cathleen Capati, Jollibee marketing assistant vice president for bestsellers category.
