The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde students, for the Paraluman renovation project, teamed up with PrayGround the Feast, an outreach community organization that aims to build 100 rooms, to paint and redesign PrayGround at the Makati Special Education Center.

Under the guidance of their mentor, interior designer Iza Sim, the young artists worked together, from the conceptualization of the overall design and the coordination with the sponsors, contractors, and material suppliers to the actual logistics.

After the renovation, the PrayGround is decked with playful bright pastel color combinations of yellow, blue, orange, and pink. It features space-saver furniture pieces such as a convertible teacher’s desk that can be easily tucked into the entertainment wall cabinet and a mini rock climbing wall that allows the youngsters to play and practice their physical and mental abilities like in an outdoor playground.
