A “glam” send-off to SG50 and welcome to 2016 are in store at MediaCorp’s star-studded countdown show on Dec. 31 at The Float @ Marina Bay. Headlined by multi-platinum selling and award winning singer-songwriter Adam Lambert, Celebrate 2016 promises to be a New Year’s Eve to remember with his chart-topping hits.
This year’s line-up will also include performances by THELIONCITYBOY, Sisay, Nat Ho, Darryl Yong, Fauzie Laily, Shane Pow, Ian Fang, Zhang ZhenHuan, The Dancefloor finalists, Getai Challenge winner Desmond Ng, Project Superstar winner Alfred Sim, Gayle Nerva, Kayly Loh, Eswari Gunasagar, Jae Liew and more. MediaCorp DJs Mike Kasem and Jean Danker will host the show.
Partygoers can also look forward to a spectacular fireworks display at the stroke of midnight and a pulsating dance party after with DJ Tinc. Tickets are priced at $168, $88 and $38 and will be available from all SISTIC outlets.

Adam Lambert has a strong following around the world and certainly in Singapore. We hope his Glambert fans from the region will join us at this spectacular party,” said Debra Soon, head of MediaCorp’s Family English Segment. “Anyone who has ever seen Adam Lambert perform knows that he carries within him an unquenchable thirst to sing better, to live better, to love better, to be better.”
Fans will get to hear songs from Lambert’s latest album Original High, including his first single Ghost Town.
“There is no better act than Adam Lambert to close 2015 on a ‘high’ note, aptly so as the Billboard chart-topping singer-songwriter has recently released his third studio album titled The Original High”, says Simon Nasser, managing director of Warner Music Singapore.
“Lambert is best known for his soaring voice and unique blend of theatrical flair and glam-rock sensibilities; hence I am sure that the pop singer will wow the crowd with a standout performance this New Year’s Eve.”
