A new upgrade to Nike’s best-selling running shoe promises to take wearers further.

Happy feet: Zoom like the wind
Nike launches an upgraded Air Zoom Pegasus 36

The Air Zoom Pegasus 36 returns with updates on the upper part that improves overall fit and comfort. Its latest engineered mesh material strategically targets breathability across high-heat areas such as the forefoot and arch for additional cooling.

Pegasus 36 has a slimmer design in the heel collar and tongue, reducing bulk for a more comfortable and conforming fit. The exposed Flywire cables in the mid-foot create a snug fit at higher speeds.

First introduced in 1983, Pegasus was intended to be the shoe for every runner. “It is so special that even Nike chief executive officer Mark Parker was part of the design team,” Nike said in a statement.

Champion runners such as Joan Benoit Samuelson and Eliud Kipchoge have used the Pegasus as a key part of their training.

The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 is available at Nike Park UP Town Center, Alabang Town Center, Glorietta, Greenbelt 3, The Fort, Podium, North Triangle, Circuit, Robinsons Ermita, Eastwood, Festival Mall, Ayala Feliz, Ayala Center Cebu, Robinsons Galleria, Gateway Mall, Fairview Terraces, SM Fairview, Limketkai Mall Cagayan De Oro, The District Imus, Nike Forum Harbor Point, and Robinsons Magnolia.

ABOUT US

Manila Standard

Manila Standard website (manilastandard.net), launched in August 2002, extends the newspaper’s reach beyond its traditional readers and makes its brand of Philippine news and opinion available to a much wider and geographically diverse readership here and overseas.

Digital Edition

In tone and content, the online edition mirrors the editorial thrust of the newspaper. While hewing to the traditional precepts of fairness and objectivity, MS believes the news of the day need not be staid, overly long or dry. Stories are succinct, readable and written in a lively style that has become a hallmark of the newspaper.
