As the nation adjusts to the “new normal,” in which shopping online is more convenient and recommended than in brick-and-mortar stores, fashion e-tailer Zalora expands its business by offering essential supplies.
Under the newly launched Essential Supplies category (www.zalora.com.ph/essentials) are basic necessities such as medicine and drugs (OTC medicine, multivitamins, PPEs), food products (canned goods, processed meat, pet food, etc.), and personal care (toiletries, surface disinfectants, small household appliances, and more).
“Seeing how COVID-19 has altered the norm for most Filipinos, Zalora is heeding to the call of the community and stepping up to be a responsible partner by using its platform to supply what consumers need most at this time—basic essentials,” Zalora said in a statement.
The fashion site is now working with reputable and trusted brand partners to supply food, medicine, personal care, and household supplies sold at government-mandated price ceilings.
