The Hotel101 Global app has surpassed 1 million registered users, DoubleDragon Corp. said on Tuesday, marking a key milestone for the hospitality platform operated by its subsidiary, Hotel101 Global.
The app, also known as the HBNB App, is expected to expand its reach over the next few years, targeting at least 1 million users each from the Philippines, Spain, Japan, and the United States. Over the medium term, the company aims to reach 25 million users across 25 countries, with a long-term goal of exceeding 100 million users in 100 markets.
“Eventually, our goal is for the Hotel101 Global App to have over 1 million registered users in every country where Hotel101 operates,” DoubleDragon chairman Edgar Injap Sia II said. “By next year, we intend to complete Hotel101-Madrid and start building up HBNB App users from Spain, followed by Japan in 2026, the United States, the United Kingdom, the UAE, and other key markets.”
Hotel101 Global CEO Hannah Yulo-Luccini said the app offers self-check-in capabilities designed to streamline the booking process, check-in, and payment.
“The HBNB App is expected to become the most efficient and easiest-to-use hotel app globally,” she said.
Hotel101 is expanding internationally, with its first three overseas projects expected to generate $471 million (P27.2 billion) in foreign currency revenue. The company is also preparing for an upcoming listing in the U.S., aiming to strengthen its balance sheet.
By 2050, Hotel101 Global aims to operate 1 million hotel rooms worldwide, with 50,000 located in the Philippines. The expansion is expected to position DoubleDragon’s Hotel101 as the largest hotel chain in the country and among the top five hotel operators globally.
