Companies commit to vaccinate employees

NutriAsia and Alliance Global, Inc. earlier announced their plans to provide free vaccination to its employees.

“We are choosing to proactively be part of the solution to end the worst public health crisis in a century with the decision to give our employees and three of their qualified dependents the option to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus,” said NutriAsia chairman Joselito Campos, Jr.

The vaccination program, whose budget is “still being finalized,” of the sauces and condiments company will be on a voluntary basis.

NutriAsia says the vaccine will be acquired in accordance with the guidelines of the Emergency Use Authorization and IATF directives, although the vaccine to be rolled out company-wide is not yet finalized.

“We are in the process of finalizing the vaccine brand to be acquired. Doses shall be administered—as soon as possible—in accordance to the manufacturer’s advice.”

Alliance Global, the parent company of Resorts World Manila, likewise announced a free vaccination program for all its employees across the board. Prior to the availability of vaccines, the integrated resort had provided its employees free COVID-19 testing and health monitoring.

“Vaccination is not just about personal protection. It is our best hope in ending this pandemic, for everyone’s benefit. The sooner we can all get vaccinated, the sooner we can get our lives and livelihood back,” said RWM president and chief executive Kingson Sian.
