December delights

As a holiday gift to diners, The Bistro Group launches new dishes across its restaurant brands. 

Fish & Co.’s new Steamed Seafood Bucket (P745) consists of shrimp, clams, corn, and fish cooked in flavorful broth and is ideal for one to three persons. It also recently introduced its own take on Salmon Belly in Tamarind Soup (P695).

Denny’s, meanwhile, has New Diner Favorites: a plate of Chicken Teriyaki (P345) comes with two pieces of fluffy pancakes; while the Filipino Breakfast Platter (P1,395) is composed of bangus belly, crispy pork, sausage, eggplant, saba, side vegetables, and three pieces of pancakes.  

Over at Modern Shanghai are new noodles and hotpots good for three to four persons. The Seafood Hotpot (P1,198) comes with shrimp, fish fillet, tofu, crabstick, fishcake, squid ball, and vegetables; while the Beef  Hotpot (P1,088) features tender beef, tofu, squid ball, fishcake, and vegetables. The Chinese restaurant’s new Beef Hofan is also available for P888.  

Denny’s new Diner Favorites: Pork Teriyaki, Chicken Teriyaki, and Filipino Breakfast Platter.

Red Lobster’s Seafood Holiday Feast, namely Ultimate Feast (composed of tender Maine lobster tail, steamed wild-caught North American snow crab legs, signature garlic shrimp scampi and fries, wild rice, and snow peas) and Admiral Feast (Walt’s favorite shrimp, bay scallops, calamari, wild caught flounder, snow peas, cocktail, and tartar sauce) are both good for three to four persons and priced at P3,400. 

Finally, Italianni’s serves new bold pizza and pasta flavors made by Chef Josh Boutwood. Truffle Mushroom Pizza is topped with shiitake mushroom, mozzarella, Gouda, and parmesan cheeses and lathered with decadent truffle cream.

The Zucchini and Ricotta Pizza, meanwhile, is made with Alfredo sauce, and ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. The Burrata is topped with plump and soft Burrata cheese, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and parmesan.

The Crab Caserecce Pasta is made with crab meat, crab fat, and lemon cream that coat every bit of the noodles; while the Spinach Gorgonzola pasta features slightly salty pancetta mixed with the unique rich flavor of gorgonzola cheese and spinach sauce.

Fish & Co branches are at Uptown Mall, McKinley, and TriNoma. Denny’s are open at TriNoma, Eastwood, Uptown, McKinley, Robinsons Midtown, Ayala North Exchange, and Vista Mall Sta. Rosa. Modern Shanghai is located at Evia, TriNoma, North Molino, and Mckinley. Red Lobster is at S Maison and Evia Lifestyle Center. Itallianni’s has branches at Alabang Town Center, Evia, Vista Sta. Rosa, BHS, Robinsons Midtown, Eastwood, Greenbelt 2, Uptown Mall, Conrad, Newport, TriNoma, and Cebu.
