Lavish dishes in platters created by a five-star hotel’s culinary staff are now available for delivery.
Diamond Hotel launches its new food offering dubbed luxury platters for a cause, as “with every sumptuous feast brought to your table, the hotel associates are granted the irreplaceable opportunity to continue to be of service to their guests during these uncertain times.”
The Weekday Specials feature dishes good for four to six persons, ideal for classy dinners at home or intimate occasions celebrated with the family.
Among the signature platters available from Monday to Friday are Baked Mediterranean Crusted Salmon, Homemade Salmon Gravlax, Slow-cooked Beef Belly in Red Wine Sauce or Porchetta (Pork Belly), and a selection of filling paellas: Paella Valenciana, Vegetable Paella, Paella Negra, and Paella de Cochinillo (Suckling Pig Paella).
Lighter yet luxurious fare comes in the form of Stir-fried Clams with Ginger and Onion or Noodles and Mushroom, and Steamed Clams with Special House Sauce.
Available on Saturdays and Sundays, meanwhile, is the Weekend Premium selection. At the helm of the range is the Seafood Paella. Not to shy from the limelight are signature crab specialties: Stir-fried Crab with Black Pepper Sauce, Stir-fried Crab with Bihon and Mushroom, and Deep-fried Crab with Salted Egg Yolk Sauce.
The Spanish Specialty Menu, Filipino Specialty Menu, and Premium Specialty Menu showcase several courses of platters like Croquetas De Jamon Serrano, Halabos Na Sugpo with Garlic Chips, Lapu-Lapu Fillet Crusted with Crabmeat and Lumpfish Caviar, and Prawn Thermidor, among others.
