The Ayala Museum is set to open a group exhibition in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the
Geneva Conventions of 1949.
Taking place at the ArtistSpace gallery in the museum, the exhibition will feature various historical photos from the time of the Geneva Conventions, which were landmark agreements that established the humanitarian rules of war. The photos showcased in the exhibit will not be available for sale.
The exhibition is presented through a partnership between the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Embassy of Switzerland in the Philippines. It will run until Aug. 14 and is open to the public for free from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Established in 2004, ArtistSpace is an art gallery curated by the Ayala Museum that features contemporary visual arts from local and international artists. It showcases new exhibitions every two weeks.
