Premium portioned coffee brand Nespresso has concocted its new boutique design concept for the first time in Southeast Asia through its latest opening at Quezon City’s TriNoma.

The first-of-its-kind boutique welcomes coffee enthusiasts to a novel experience revolving around the arts of design, coffee savoir-faire, sharing and caring, circularity, and hospitality.

This 98-square-meter location greets passersby with transparent walls that offer a complete view of its interiors.

Global flavors

Among its features is the “Coffee As An Art” space with an interactive coffee theater that alternatively doubles as a stage for masterclasses.

Meanwhile, the “Taste & Discover” table invites Nespresso drinkers to make their own coffee recipes. They may receive assistance from a video tutorial, as well as a coffee specialist more than willing to help.

At the boutique’s center are the “Art of Circularity” and “Nespresso & You” counters, which inform patrons of the brand’s advocacies, programs, and specialized services. Similarly, the “Coffee & Style” area showcases the brand’s complete range of Nespresso machines and accessories,

The TriNoma boutique also has a Lounge unique to its concept. Here, customers can take a moment to enjoy their coffee and connect with other connoisseurs.

Finally, what ties the boutique’s design together is its signature colorful sleeve wall that presents Nespresso’s various coffee flavors and blends.

Local tastes

“The Trinoma boutique will redefine the way people engage with and enjoy coffee. Here, we will be able to showcase the best of Nespresso’s savoir-faire and innovation through immersive and sensorial experiences,” says Patrick Pesengco, managing director of Nespresso’s exclusive Philippine distributor, Novateur Coffee Concepts.

The concept design taps into Philippine roots to provide customers with a more localized experience.

Specifically, the floor treatment draws inspiration from the traditional Filipino hat “salakot,” which is typically made from rattan or bamboo and often adorned with intricate designs.

“We were created from a groundbreaking idea that enables everyone to prepare a coffee at home like a skilled barista. We have kept our pioneering spirit. We continue to innovate to deliver new unique coffee experiences while remaining relevant to our consumers and being a positive force for good in the world,” Nespresso Asia regional business development manager Fabio De Gregorio said.

Nespresso Boutique Trinoma is located on the mall’s third floor. Other Nespresso boutiques are located at Power Plant Mall, Podium, Robinsons Magnolia, Ayala Center Cebu, One Bonifacio High Street, Mitsukoshi BGC, and SM Mall of Asia.
