We are delighted to open [the] biggest branch in Metro Manila so far…We are excited to let our customers experience the comfort and style which Skechers has always been known for,” said Sue Pasustento, Skechers Philippines country manager.
Pasustento added that Skechers’ expansion in the Philippines is according to its mission of delivering comfortable, stylish, and innovative footwear and clothing designed to meet the needs of every Filipino family.
Established in 1992, Skechers is known for its style, innovation, quality, and comfort, which supported the brand in its global expansion. In 2021, the company changed its operations in the Philippines to become a directly-owned operation while expanding its capital investment.
The new Skechers store, located on the second floor beside Zara, has a mid-century, modern-style inspired design. Unlike most stores, where shoes are the only highlight, the brand’s new store also highlights their apparel, like jackets, shirts, sportswear, socks, and hats, suitable for everyday and active lifestyles.
Measuring 2,900 square feet, the new Skechers store also offers versatile bags suitable for the gym, office, and other occasions.
Although the brand added modifications, it continues to provide shoppers of all ages with its signature comfort innovations, like the patented Skechers Arch Fit Technology, Skechers Max Cushioning Technology, Skechers Hyper Burst Technology, Skechers Air-Cooled Memory Foam, Skechers Relaxed Fit Technology, and Skechers Stretch Fit Technology. Shoe lovers can enjoy this wide array of options to fit their lifestyles.
Skechers’ new store also offers Skechers GOwalk, one of its best-selling categories across the globe, designed for both walking and casual wear.
The shoe line boasts performance technology and materials in easy-to-wear and lace-up designs. And as an ode to local artists, Skechers collaborated with them to create new designs that people can wear on the streets, the gym, the office, and more.
The renowned footwear brand now has two stores in Metro Manila and five total retail destinations across the country. And although it just opened its biggest store, Pasustento assures that Skechers will continue to open more stores in the capital and major cities around the country.
